What is the IGS Way?

The annual ‘IGS Way’ reward is part of an employee recognition program that puts four key values into action. Each year, employees are invited to submit stories of co-workers who they believe have gone above and beyond to embody these values in their working life. As part of the nomination, employees are asked to choose a specific value they feel is consistently upheld by their colleague and how it applies to their working practices.

Celebrating Excellence

We’re delighted to announce that this year’s winner of the IGS Way Award is our very own Tyrone Fouche, a member of the Tube Tech Technician team, for demonstrating ‘excellence’ in his role. Tyrone was put forward for the award by Site Engineer Darren Thomas, whose nomination detailed Tyrone’s selflessness and “constant willing to put absolute maximum effort” into jobs that others would shy away from. Tyrone was also praised for his unrelenting work ethic and his tendency to “never let anyone struggle even if it means putting more workload on himself”.

To reward his hard work and positive attitude, Tyrone has been gifted a trip of his choice valued up to $5,000. We’d like to congratulate Tyrone for his award and thank him for his contributions to the company.

On receiving the award, Tyrone commented; “Excellence to me means doing the best that you can do at all times, whenever and however you can, and that’s what I started to do. Do the best at what you can do, whenever you can. Thank you so much for this, I really appreciate everything that you’ve mentioned”
