We are pleased to announce that we have been enrolled as an Associate Participant in the SPRINT Robotics Collaborative.

Launched in 2015, the SPRINT Robotics Collaborative is “an industry-driven initiative that promoted the development, availability and application of robotics techniques in technical inspections, maintenance and operation of capital-intensive infrastructure”.

The not-for-profit organization was founded by numerous large asset owners from the energy industry to promote and encourage the worldwide use of robotic technologies for inspection, cleaning, and maintenance.

At Tube Tech, we have more than 30 years of experience developing cutting-edge inspection and maintenance robotic technologies. Our in-house Research & Development team has been engineering autonomous cleaning systems which aim to:

  • Make fouling removal faster and safer
  • Reduce CO2 emissions and positively impact the environment
  • Enhance thermal efficiency and asset reliability
  • Provide comprehensive inspection and reporting features

Commenting on becoming an Associate Participant, Jon Camp Managing Director at Tube Tech, said:

“We are looking forward to sharing our experience and knowledge with SPRINT Robotics and its participants to actively improve robotic technology and industry standards.

“Our team is proudly comprised of some of the industry’s best engineers, technicians, and developers. This has allowed Tube Tech to position itself as an expert in the field of asset maintenance, reliability, and heat transfer recovery.

“By being associated with SPRINT Robotics, we hope to raise awareness of the benefits of robotic techniques and share access tools and resources to help drive our own technology development forward to remain at the forefront of maintenance and inspection innovation.”
