Tube Tech is delighted to welcome Gary William Bigden to the company as Head Programming Engineer responsible for the designing, building, and programming of electronic control systems.
Gary has joined Tube Tech’s well-established research and development department and will be working with the team to oversee the ongoing development of the programming elements of Tube Tech’s robotic systems.
Gary started his career at BT in London in 1986 and in the early days of his career was just one of six people to be selected from 350 applicants to receive a scholarship. BT has a strong historical affiliation with the University of Essex and as such, Gary chose to complete his degree in electronics & control systems engineering at the University.
After being with the company for 22 years, Gary continued his professional career at Tevva, a UK-based leading developer of modular electrification systems for medium duty commercial vehicles.
Following a successful tenure at the company, we are pleased to welcome Gary to Tube Tech in his capacity as Head Programming Engineer and look forward to benefitting from his vast experience within the electronic engineering field.
“I am thrilled to join such a forward-thinking and pioneering company such as Tube Tech. Hearing about the development of robotic technologies and the business’ vision for the future was very exciting and an opportunity I just couldn’t turn down.
“I am looking forward to working with a talented team of people and using my experience to contribute to developing the company’s portfolio of advanced cleaning systems. I can’t wait to get started!”
In his spare time, Gary is a keen musician and enjoys playing the violin, guitar, and piano. He also loves motorbikes and technology as well as taking his two rescue dogs for long walks in Suffolk, where he currently resides.
Welcome to the team, Gary!
